If you feel like you’ve been dimmed for awhile from the circumstances in your life, it’s time to snap out if it. I have felt that so much in 2022 and I’m over it. The weight of that darkness is too much to carry and I’m ready to change it. It’s time to remind ourselves what our purpose is in life and REIGNITE the LIGHT within us.
Our purpose in life is to shine His light on the world around us. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world, whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have light of life.“ John 8:12
He has called us out of the darkness to experience His light, so that we, in turn, can broadcast that light into the world.
Our purpose in life is to bear the image of Jesus wherever we go. We are new creations in Christ. To live in likeness of him is to love and serve others. We are called to be a light in the darkness, never dimming His light within us. To shine is to live a full life of faith, faith in the truth of Jesus, the Bible, the promises of God, salvation and eternity with him, keeping a continual “heaven-bound” perspective everywhere we go.
Our purpose is to glorify God. Shining our light in lives of service to others so that others may know him by our actions and good deeds. Let today be the day we Reignite our flames, shining it on all in our paths.
